Hi! I found your photo on the list of free images in google, since I waned to use it, I looked for the author through google pictures and end up here. I'm a writer from Italy and I recently made a facebook page for my new book, your photo looked perfect as a cover for the page. You can see it slighty modified @cosenonsoggette, if that's ok with you I'd like to keep it, of course I'm not selling it or anything and I quoted you in the description.

For now the book is only in italian but I intend to translate it soon into english. The main character is called the Oracle, I find it to be an amazing coincidence.

this is an amazing photo, the way the light shines from the sphere...thing... it gives a tremendous amount of light that makes your daughter shine. Very real, and her expression is perfect! She looks as though she truely is looking into the future, and she definitely sees something.

It's dark...but cute!

How did you make this? What is she holding?

Nah just kidding, I know how you did it and what it is. You had been asked too many times the same thing from different ppl who don't read other comments :P

Thank you for your interest.

The setup is very simple:
Black linien backdrop and the only light source is the light bowl she is holding. Technical info is below the photograph. The position of her head was very important because the light is not very strong.

a very sadistic image a fanciful amount of space and i love the darkness. i love this feeling esp in my own work. Great use of the light ball.

Very nice shot.
I love the composition, and her expression.
The light bowl was a great idea for a light source, too bad it didn't shine a little more on her face for more detail...other than that...fantastic..and your daughter is adorable.

Thank you very much.

Is it possible that your monitor is to dark?
I have viewed that image on at least 4 monitors and on all of them the brightness was fine on her face.

Thanks again

nah my monitor is at 100% brightness...I can see her face I just thought that a little more brightness would add to the photo...It really is a great photo...so please don't take offense by my critique.
