Artist's Comments
This is a river named Ellišaįr that runs through the city of Reykjavķk where I live. The river is in very healthy shape with wild salmon and a some birdlife. This was shot after midnight when the sun had just set. I was driving home after when I saw that the valley that the river runs through was filled with fog. When I got down in the valley the light was incredible. The purple cast is original, perhaps because there was a red and orange sky above the fog.
